Good Morning! On this day in 1986, Chicago Bulls superstar Michael Jordan set an NBA playoff record, scoring 63 points in Game 2 of their match against the Boston Celtics—still the record as the 2025 NBA playoffs begin this weekend.
Today, Christians celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, the cornerstone of Christian faith. Christians believe Christ’s triumph over death offers hope, renewal, and eternal life. Many Christians in America will celebrate by going to church, followed by Easter Brunch. If you celebrate Easter, what makes the day special for you and your family? Hit reply and tell us your story. We would love to hear it.

The emergency order temporarily blocks the deportations until the high court resolves the American Civil Liberties Union’s (ACLU) emergency appeal, which was filed hours earlier over concerns that more deportation flights were imminent.
The ACLU warned that immigration authorities were accusing other Venezuelan men held in Texas of being members of the Tren de Aragua gang, which would make them subject to President Trump’s use of the act.
The Supreme Court initially ruled on April 8 that Trump could use the Alien Enemies Act to deport alleged gang members, but deportees must be given a chance to challenge their removal.
Russia, Ukraine Swap Soldiers in Easter Ceasefire
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a temporary Easter ceasefire in Ukraine starting Saturday, as Russia and Ukraine swapped hundreds of captured soldiers in the largest exchange since Moscow’s invasion began more than three years ago.
However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the “Russian assault operations continue on several frontline sectors, and Russian artillery fire has not subsided.”
Russia’s Ministry of Defense said 246 Russian service members were returned from territory controlled by Kyiv, and 31 wounded Ukrainian POWs were transferred in exchange for 15 wounded Russian soldiers in need of urgent medical care.
President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned on Friday that the U.S. would abandon efforts to broker further peace talks unless there were clear signs of progress within days.
Ford Stops Car Shipments to China
Ford said on Friday it has halted shipments of its SUVs, pick-up trucks, and sports cars to China amid retaliatory tariffs that have seen vehicles face taxes as high as 150%.
The shipments include F-150 Raptors, Mustangs, and Michigan-built Bronco SUVs, as well as Kentucky-made Lincoln Navigators. The company continues to export U.S.-built engines and transmissions to China.

But if those reasons haven’t been enough to entice you to join Prime, maybe some of these lesser-known incentives will tempt you to sign up.
