Netflix to Overhaul Viewer Experience
Netflix is rolling out its most significant TV interface update in over a decade, with a redesigned homepage built to make browsing faster, smarter, and more intuitive.
For the first time since 2013, the main navigation menu will shift from the left side of the screen to the center, featuring prominent shortcuts for “Search” and “My List.” Title cards will also highlight accolades like “#1 in TV Shows” or “Emmy Award Winner” to help users make quicker decisions.
The update includes smarter recommendations that refresh in near real time, adjusting to your moods, interests, and browsing behavior.
Other features in the works include AI-powered search and vertical scrolling previews on mobile. Netflix said it has no plans to raise subscription prices again anytime soon.
