What’s Better Than Drinking Award-Winning Beer?

Buying stock in the brewery that makes it. That’s the story of Colorado’s most-awarded brewery, Westbound & Down.

They blend gold-medal beer with a hospitality-first, chef-driven dining approach, creating a brand customers seek out. 25+ awards at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup don’t hurt, either. Neither does their retail partnership with Whole Foods.

With 2,800% distribution sales growth since 2019 and four locations with waitlists every weekend, they’ve already built the demand most craft brands can only dream of.

Now, with a new Denver metro area location coming and plans to scale production 4X by 2028, they’re ready to meet it.

Even better? You’re invited to share in their growth and unlock up to 20% bonus stock as an early-stage investor.

But hurry—the deadline to do so is tonight at midnight PT.

Two NFL Stars Got $200M for This Business Idea

Turns out beer’s big business. Jason and Travis Kelce just landed a $200M investment into their Garage Beer brand. And they’re not the only brewers swiftly turning investments into growth.

Colorado’s Westbound & Down recently maxed out an investment offering in under 60 days. How? By parlaying their reputation as Colorado’s most-awarded craft brewery with brewpubs boasting world-class hospitality and food.

That’s produced 2,800% distribution growth since 2019 and a distribution partnership with Whole Foods. They’re not done, either. Already sold across 900+ accounts, they aim to 4X distribution by 2028.

Now, with a flagship Denver location coming, they’ve opened a new window for investors to share in their growth in this $282B market. Get up to 20% bonus stock as an investor before tonight’s midnight PT deadline. (Learn more)

Whatever Happened To...

Whatever happened to Jenny Craig?

In the 1980s, the Jenny Craig brand of frozen, ready-made food for dieters became a sensation in the U.S. after being launched in Australia by Jenny Craig and her business-partner-turned-husband, Sid Craig.

Jenny, born Genevieve Guidroz, became the face of the brand. It had a powerful hook: portion-controlled frozen meals plus one-on-one coaching. You can see one of the original Australian TV ads with Jenny here

The company grew fast and went public in 1991, but its rapid rise brought regulatory problems, as did its flirtation with fen-phen weight-loss drugs shortly before that combo was linked to serious heart risks and pulled from the market.

Still, the brand had a core strength: Jenny Craig herself, a sympathetic mom who had struggled with weight issues. That changed in 1995 when Jenny suffered a jaw injury that left her temporarily unable to speak, prompting her retirement as the company’s main spokesperson.

Nestlé bought the company for roughly $600 million in 2006 and managed its decline for a time, but in 2023 the Jenny Craig brand declared bankruptcy and was acquired by Wellful—the parent of Nutrisystem. It’s now a direct-to-consumer, digital-first service: meals shipped, coaching online, no storefronts.

As for Jenny, the person, she and her husband, Sid, who died in 2008, became significant philanthropists. They committed millions to Fresno State University, whose business school was named the Sid Craig School of Business.

More recently, in 2022, she pledged $5 million to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans to create the Jenny Craig Institute for the Study of War and Democracy. Now 93, she’s noted as being passionate about supporting military families.
