Good Morning! On this date in 1863, eight score and two years ago, President Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address, one of the most famous speeches in American history. It took only about two minutes to deliver the entire speech.
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. The first feature movie created entirely by AI is here, as we report in Science today, and not surprisingly it’s an animated superhero film. Here’s the trailer, see what you think.

Congress OKs Release of Epstein Files
The House and Senate both voted Tuesday to approve the Epstein Files Transparency Act, directing the Department of Justice to release all unclassified records related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The House voted overwhelmingly 427-1 to pass the act, and the Senate quickly followed by unanimous consent, sending the bill to President Trump for his signature.
Though Trump initially opposed the release, he gave it his backing this week and said he will sign the legislation if it reaches his desk.

Court Blocks Texas Redistricting
A three-judge federal panel blocked the new congressional map approved by the Texas legislature, saying it couldn’t be used for the 2026 midterm elections.
The state’s redistricting effort this year sparked efforts by other states to redistrict, most notably California, which is moving forward with its plan.
The federal court said “substantial evidence” indicated the Texas map was likely drawn using racial gerrymandering and ordered the state to revert to its previous 2021 map.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott vowed that the state would swiftly appeal the decision to the Supreme Court, arguing the ruling “undermines the authority” of the state legislature.

Turkey Production Down, Prices Up
U.S. turkey production has fallen precipitously after bird flu forced farms to cull millions of birds, cutting commercial output to 195 million in 2025—a 40-year low.
The tighter supply has pushed the national wholesale price for frozen whole turkeys up about 40% to $1.32 per pound, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. A report in PDF is available here.
Retailers are still expected to stock frozen birds and use brands like Butterball as loss-leader specials to draw holiday shoppers.
