Good morning! On this day in 1963, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th U.S. president, was assassinated as he rode through Dallas, in an open-top motorcade.
In today’s Flyover, we write about a near-mint copy of the 1939 comic Superman No. 1, which sold for a record $9.12 million. Discovered in a box under old newspapers, the issue is now the most valuable comic book ever sold—and a reminder that sometimes the most interesting stories are the ones hiding in the attic.

Ukraine Faces Thanksgiving Peace Deadline
The U.S. administration has advanced a 28-point peace proposal to settle the conflict in Ukraine, with President Trump suggesting the deadline for Ukrainian approval is nearing Thanksgiving, Nov. 27.
Russian President Vladimir Putin affirmed that the framework could serve as a basis for a final settlement, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged the diplomatic pressure but vowed to work with Washington to ensure national interests are protected.
The draft plan, which has leaked, reportedly requires Kyiv to formally renounce future NATO membership and cede territory, including parts of the Donetsk Oblast it still controls, while implicitly recognizing Crimea, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia along the line of contact as de facto Russian.
In return, the proposal mandates Ukraine limit its armed forces to 600,000 personnel but offers a conditional U.S.-led security guarantee against future aggression, a reconstruction fund using frozen Russian assets, and phased sanctions relief for Russia, including an invitation to rejoin the G8.

Mamdani, Trump Meet at White House
The anticipated meeting between President Trump and newly elected democratic socialist NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani evolved into an unexpectedly warm exchange at the White House on Friday.
President Trump repeatedly praised Mamdani, predicting the far-left politician would make New York City “greater than ever before,” despite having previously derided him as “my little Communist” and threatening to withhold federal funding. Watch Trump speak to the reporters.
Mamdani was more measured, stating their roughly 30-minute discussion focused primarily on the shared goal of addressing affordability and crime in the city, rather than their numerous political disagreements.
Trump even offered a lighthearted defense of Mamdani when the mayor-elect was questioned about past statements calling the President a “fascist,” and backed off his threat to deploy the National Guard. Both leaders stressed their mutual interest in the city’s success following the sit-down.

Potential Fed Rate Cut Lifts Markets but Not Bitcoin
Odds of a Federal Reserve rate cut in December more than doubled to 74% Friday after dovish comments from New York Fed President John Williams and Governor Stephen Miran, sparking a broad market rally.
The S&P 500 surged 0.98% and the Dow jumped 493.15 points, or 1.08%, recovering from Thursday’s sharp selloff.
However, Bitcoin’s plunge accelerated on Friday, falling as low as $81,919—down more than 35% from its October record high of above $126,000 and wiping out all gains for 2025.
The cryptocurrency’s decline reflects multiple pressures, including Federal Reserve uncertainty, investors pulling more than $800 million from Bitcoin funds, and long-term holders cashing out $43 billion worth of Bitcoin.

We’re Nearly There
Over the last 12 days, we’ve been sprinting toward one goal: reaching 2,000 reader-investors. Today, I want to be fully transparent—we fell short. As I write this, we’re about 147 investors away.
Falling short never feels good. And yet, I’m enormously grateful.
1,853 of you have already stepped up to become owners of The Flyover. You’ve placed your trust, your belief, and your investment behind what we’re building. Because of that support, we’ve accomplished more in the last few months than at any point in our history. This morning alone, we delivered to a record 3.7 million readers, and our revenue is up 24% month-over-month.
That’s because of you.
The Flyover is building something different: a newsroom for common-sense Americans. A home for people who stopped watching the news because they couldn’t trust it. A publication committed to honesty, fairness, and fact-first reporting.
To keep building this movement, reaching 2,000 investors truly matters.
So today, I’m being straight with you: we’re close, but we need your help. If you’ve considered investing—whether small or large—today would be the day. If The Flyover has earned your trust, we hope you’ll take that final step and become an investor.
