Good Morning! On this day in 1801, John Marshall was nominated to be chief justice of the Supreme Court by President John Adams. Marshall was the nation’s fourth chief justice but became the longest-serving person in the role in U.S. history, serving until 1835.
A friendly rabbit at Copper Mountain in Colorado sparked a call to animal control after it lingered for days and tried to climb into cars, as we report below. Turns out it was a wild bunny, not an escaped pet, and officials urged people to keep their distance and not feed it.
Later today: If you’ve been thinking about getting into silver, watch for a partner message from GoldCo breaking down why interest in the precious metal is rising right now.
Today’s sponsor, Doroni, is building the H1-X personal flying aircraft with 600+ reservations already—and early-stage investors can still claim a piece of the company and even earn an invite to its full-sized prototype unveiling.

Train Crash in Spain Kills at Least 40
At least 40 people were killed and 159 injured when two high-speed trains collided Sunday near Adamuz in southern Spain after one derailed and crossed onto an adjacent track.
A train carrying 289 passengers from Málaga to Madrid went off the rails at 7:45 p.m. and slammed into an incoming train with nearly 200 passengers traveling from Madrid to Huelva.
The impact sent carriages plummeting down a 13-foot slope, with some bodies found hundreds of feet from the crash site as passengers were thrown through windows. This video was recorded inside the Spanish train as passengers evacuated.
Spanish Transport Minister Óscar Puente said the cause remains unknown but called it “extremely strange” because it occurred on a straight, recently renovated stretch of track, with both trains traveling under the speed limit.

Winter Storm Threatens South
A powerful winter storm brewing in the Southwest could deliver widespread snow and ice from Texas to the southeast coast by late this week after rare weekend snowfall blanketed parts of Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.
The National Weather Service warns of a potentially disruptive ice threat covering Texas, the Lower Mississippi and Tennessee valleys, and even parts of the mid-Atlantic and Washington, D.C.
Wind chills this weekend are forecast to plunge to as low as 40 to 50 below zero in some areas, potentially marking the coldest air of the entire season.
Meteorologists caution it’s still too early to predict exact precipitation amounts but call the pattern a classic setup for disruptive icing.

List: Top 50 World Militaries Ranked
A new ranking places the U.S., Russia, and China as the top three most powerful militaries based on over 60 factors including personnel, equipment, and logistics.
The analysis notes that the recent extraction of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro by the U.S. demonstrates that military strength extends beyond troop numbers, with the 2.5-hour operation showcasing how training, intelligence, and logistics drive military power.
While China commands the largest active force with over 2 million personnel, smaller nations like Japan and the U.K. rank high due to advanced naval and air capabilities.
The index evaluates 145 countries using a comprehensive scoring system where lower numbers indicate greater strength. See the full chart here.

A Drone Expert Is Making Flying Cars Real
In 2016, after years working on military drones, Doron Merdinger began sketching a flying car. He saw how quickly the tech had advanced. Soon, people would fly from driveways. So he built Doroni.
It’s great timing, too. The urban air mobility market is worth $4B today. By 2040, Morgan Stanley puts it at $1 trillion. By 2050, $9 trillion.
And with 600+ reservations for Doroni’s aircraft and $175M+ in potential revenue already, the demand for this innovation is undeniable.
Now, they’re preparing to unveil a full-sized showroom prototype of their H1-X personal aircraft in late March, with commercial deliveries planned for 2028. By 2032, they’re targeting $1.4B+ in annual revenue.
Even better? You can claim a piece now and earn an invitation to the H1-X unveiling as an early-stage investor. But only for a little while longer. Join 4,000+ Doroni investors before this opportunity closes for good.

Goodbye Traffic, Hello $1 Trillion Opportunity
The average American spends up to 9 days’ worth of time stuck commuting via car. Gridlocked traffic, bottlenecks, road closures. They’re unavoidable.
That’s why the market for urban air and mobility will be worth $1 trillion by 2040. But most are focused on air taxis. No wonder investors are so excited about Doroni, whose H1-X aircraft fits in a two-car garage.
600+ people already reserved one, representing $175M+ in potential revenue. And with new FAA rules opening doors to pilot certification in as little as 25 hours, Doroni’s innovation is perfectly timed.
It isn’t conceptual, either. The showroom model will debut at Doroni’s Soul of the Sky event in late March. By 2028, they aim to begin deliveries. By 2032, they project $1.4B+ in revenue.
Even better? You can join as an early-stage investor today and even earn an invitation to March’s unveiling. But not for long. Invest in Doroni before this early-stage opportunity ends.
