New Bomb Cyclone Storm Targets East Coast
A rapidly intensifying storm is forecast to slam the East Coast this weekend with heavy snow, blizzard conditions, and dangerous coastal flooding from the Carolinas to New England.
The nor’easter is expected to strengthen into a bomb cyclone Saturday as it barrels up the Atlantic seaboard, bringing wind gusts up to 70 mph and significant beach erosion.
The storm could drop 6 to 12 inches of snow across North Carolina and southern Virginia, where cities like Charlotte and Raleigh may see their heaviest snowfall since 2004.
The storm’s exact track will determine impacts farther north along the heavily populated I-95 corridor. Boston and southeastern Massachusetts currently face the greatest snowfall potential in the Northeast, with up to a foot of snow and blizzard conditions forecast for Sunday.

Border Czar Planning Minnesota Drawdown
White House border czar Tom Homan said Thursday that federal immigration enforcement agencies are working on a plan to reduce their massive presence in Minnesota after two U.S. citizens were killed by federal agents.
Homan acknowledged that the federal government had made mistakes and that improvements are needed.
About 3,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol agents are currently deployed in the state, but Homan said Minnesota’s county jails have agreed to notify ICE of inmates in the country illegally, allowing agents to focus on jail operations rather than street sweeps.
President Trump assigned Homan to lead federal operations following a fatal shooting by federal authorities last week. The drawdown plan aims to ease tensions while maintaining enforcement efforts against immigrants in the country illegally.

Americans Hit Record Life Expectancy
America reached a record life expectancy of 79 years in 2024, marking the highest in U.S. history, according to new data released Thursday.
The milestone reflects declining deaths from the nation’s top killers, including heart disease and cancer, along with a sharp 26% drop in drug overdose deaths. About 3.07 million Americans died in 2024, roughly 18,000 fewer than the previous year, with death rates falling across all racial and ethnic groups.
COVID fell out of the top 10 causes of death for the first time since the pandemic began. Deaths from unintentional injuries, which include overdoses, plummeted more than 14% as fentanyl-related fatalities continued their recent downward trend.

FINAL HOURS! The Flyover Investment Round Closes Tomorrow
A few months ago, we set out on a mission: to offer ownership opportunities to our readers—now more than 4 million strong. You are one of those readers and we are incredibly grateful. Without you, we wouldn’t be the company we are today.
But here’s the deal: we have only hours left.
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, now is the moment to step in and be one of the final investors in The Flyover. Together, we can finish strong.
Invest in The Flyover today
With only hours left, we want to answer one final question we hear most often from readers and potential investors:
How do I get a return on my investment?
We believe in being direct.
Like all investments, this carries risk. But here’s what makes The Flyover different: we have already reached profitability after just two years. That puts The Flyover in a very small group of media startups, many of which never reach profitability at all.
There are three primary ways investors may realize a return:
1️⃣ A Sale A larger media company or strategic partner could acquire The Flyover. If that day comes, we’d only consider partners who respect our values and our readers.
2️⃣ A Public Listing While we’re private today, a future public listing would give investors the ability to buy and sell shares on an open market.
3️⃣ Profit Distributions (Dividends) Because The Flyover is already profitable, unlike most startups, distributions are a real possibility as the business continues to grow.
To recap: 1. Sale. 2. Listing. 3. Distributions.
Now, the most important part.
This investment round closes tomorrow. Not days. Hours.
Once it closes, it’s closed.
If you’ve been considering investing; if you’ve been watching from the sidelines, this is your final opportunity to join us as an owner of The Flyover.
Invest in The Flyover before the round closes: https://theflyover.com/invest
Final hours. Final spots. This is it.
