Late-breaking news: The suspect in the Dec. 13 Brown University mass shooting has been found dead in a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire, police said last night. He was identified as 48-year-old Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, a former Brown student who may have previously attended the same school in Portugal as an MIT professor who was fatally shot Dec. 15 in Massachusetts. TikTok Signs US Sale Deal
Chinese TikTok owner ByteDance signed binding agreements Thursday to sell over 80% of TikTok’s U.S. assets to American investors, ending years of fighting over China’s influence on the popular social media platform.
Under the agreements, Oracle, Silver Lake, and Abu Dhabi’s MGX will collectively own 45% of the new TikTok joint venture, with existing ByteDance investors keeping about 30% and ByteDance retaining nearly 20%.
The deal, set to close Jan. 22, requires the U.S. owners to retrain TikTok’s algorithm using only American user data to prevent outside manipulation by China.
The sale allows 170 million U.S. users to continue scrolling while addressing concerns that first emerged when President Trump attempted to ban the app in 2020.

‘Patriot Games’ Announced For America 250
The Trump administration on Thursday announced plans for a new national high school sports competition called the “Patriot Games” as part of the country’s 250th anniversary celebration in 2026.
The four-day event, expected in the fall, would bring one male and one female student-athlete from every state and U.S. territory to Washington, D.C. Watch President Trump’s announcement here.
The Patriot Games are part of a broader America 250 slate of commemorative events that also includes a UFC fight at the White House on Flag Day, a multi-week Great American State Fair on the National Mall, and expanded July 4 celebrations with military flyovers and fireworks.
The administration says more details on events and scheduling will be released as planning continues. Visit the official website here.

College Football Playoffs Start Tonight
The 12-team College Football Playoff kicks off this weekend with four first-round, win-or-go-home games, starting with tonight’s matchup between No. 9 Alabama and No. 8 Oklahoma and rolling through to a tripleheader tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s midday slate opens with No. 10 Miami taking on No. 7 Texas A&M. The Aggies have been monitoring the health of superstar running back Le’Veon Moss all week as he pushes to return after missing the last six games with an ankle injury.
The TNT cable network then takes over with a double feature full of upset potential: No. 11 Tulane visits No. 6 Ole Miss in the afternoon, then No. 12 James Madison heads to No. 5 Oregon in the evening. That’s two Group-of-Five champions walking into two of the loudest stadiums in the sport with a shot to flip the bracket in one night.
Tonight’s opening game between Alabama and Oklahoma is a rematch of the nailbiter from Nov. 15, which the Sooners won 23-21. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN.

The second wave of AI most investors will scroll past
You rarely see a private company cross 14,000 investors before Wall Street even clocks what’s happening. RAD Intel has already achieved this, with more than $60M raised, recurring 7-figure contracts in place across major brands and agencies, and a reserved Nasdaq ticker, $RADI, heading into 2026.
This isn’t a concept-stage AI story. RAD Intel’s platform is already wired into real marketing budgets, helping brands decide where the next dollar performs best before they spend it. That edge is starting to show up in the business. Sales growth was 2x again in 2025. The company is backed by multiple Fidelity funds, selected by the Adobe Design Fund, and supported by private investors, including operators from Google, Meta, YouTube, and Amazon.
Through their SEC-qualified Reg A+ offering, shares are currently $0.85. You’re looking at a company with 5,000%+ valuation growth, 2x sales momentum, 7-figure recurring contracts, and 14K+ investors already on the cap table, still priced under $1.
Gaps like that between performance and price don’t usually stay open for long. These are the moments when the early work sets the cost basis, and everyone else ends up reverse-engineering that entry from a chart. If you’ve spent the last 2 years waiting for real AI financials before leaning in, this is the kind of setup people point to later and say, “That was the window.”*

Earnings call energy at an early stage price
RAD Intel is delivering the kind of numbers you usually hear halfway through an earnings call, not in a deal still priced like an early-stage story. Recurring 7-figure contracts with Fortune 1000 brands and global agencies are in place. Sales growth has more than doubled in 2025. A reserved Nasdaq ticker, $RADI, is already locked—and the company is still private. For now.
On top of that sits a valuation that has climbed more than 5,000% in about 5 years, with over $60M raised from 14,000+ investors, backed by multiple Fidelity funds, selected by the Adobe Design Fund, and insiders from Google, Meta, YouTube, and Amazon.*
Earnings call energy at an early-stage price does not often show up. When it does, it rarely remains at $0.85 per share for long. Invest Now at $0.85/share.
