Good Morning! On this day in 1878, notorious outlaw Black Bart robbed a Wells Fargo stagecoach in California, stealing less than $400 and a passenger’s diamond ring and watch. A taunting poem signed “Black Bart” was found inside the recovered empty safe box. See the poem here.

Trump Orders Homeless Removed From Streets
President Trump signed an executive order on Thursday directing cities and states to remove homeless people, drug users, and those with serious mental illness from public spaces and place them in treatment centers.
It redirects federal funds to support long-term institutional care, prioritizing grants for communities already cracking down on public drug use, camping, and loitering.
The directive is framed as a public safety and quality-of-life effort to restore order in cities.
According to the White House, more than 274,000 people slept on U.S. streets each night last year.

Columbia Settles with Feds for $200M
Columbia University agreed to pay $200 million to the federal government to restore research funding cut by the Trump administration over accusations it failed to protect Jewish students during Gaza-related campus protests.
The deal reinstates most of the $400 million in frozen grants and requires Columbia to adopt stricter campus policies, including protest restrictions and the appointment of an independent monitor.
The university denied wrongdoing but called the agreement a step toward stability. Education Secretary Linda McMahon said the settlement sets a “roadmap” for other schools under federal scrutiny.

Hulk Hogan Dies at 71
Terry Bollea, recognized globally as pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, died on Thursday in Florida. He was 71.
Bollea entered professional wrestling in the 1970s, standing 6-foot-7 with 24-inch biceps, urging fans to train, take their vitamins, and say their prayers. As the charismatic, shirt-ripping Hulk Hogan, he made wrestling mainstream and became the biggest box-office draw in the sport’s history.
He also found success in entertainment, starring in a string of movies and TV shows, including Rocky III as Thunderlips, opposite Sylvester Stallone. See his life in photos here.
Tributes to Bollea poured in from wrestlers and politicians, with Ric Flair praising their friendship and President Trump calling him “strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart.”
