Trump, Putin To Meet in Hungary
President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to meet in Budapest to discuss ending the war in Ukraine, following a lengthy call between the two leaders.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead a U.S. delegation in preliminary talks with Russian officials next week.
The summit date hasn’t been announced, but it will follow Trump’s scheduled meeting today at the White House with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The U.S. is weighing whether to give long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, a threat Russia has strongly criticized. Trump said “great progress” was made in the Putin call.

Outdoor Retailers Closing Stores
The outdoor retail sector is undergoing a major shakeup as legacy brands like REI and Orvis close stores and restructure operations in response to overexpansion, changing consumer behavior, and mounting trade pressures.
REI will close its flagship SoHo store in New York along with locations in Boston and Paramus, New Jersey, by late 2026, while Orvis plans to shutter 36 stores, nearly half its U.S. footprint, citing problems caused by tariffs.
Both companies, once buoyed by the pandemic-era outdoor boom, are now contending with declining foot traffic, bloated inventories, and younger consumers shifting toward hybrid social fitness trends, such as running clubs, pickleball, and obstacle races.

The Real Reason Your Muscles Vanish After 50 (and How to Fight Back Without Lifting a Weight)
Ever notice your arms and legs don’t feel as strong as they used to? Maybe it’s harder to climb stairs, lift a suitcase, or even get up from the couch without bracing yourself.
Most people chalk it up to “just getting older,” but that’s not the full story. Starting around age 50, your body begins losing lean muscle mass at a rate of roughly 1% per year. Over time, that adds up.
By 80, you could have lost half your muscle strength. And that decline affects far more than your appearance. It impacts balance, energy, and independence.
The good news? Researchers have uncovered a surprisingly simple way to restore strength and vitality—without spending hours in the gym or lifting a single weight.
This discovery is helping older adults rebuild muscle, boost energy, and feel years younger, all from the comfort of home.
