Trump, Moore Spar Over Baltimore Crime
President Trump has offered to deploy the National Guard to Baltimore in response to Maryland Gov. Wes Moore’s (D) social media post telling the president to “come walk the streets with us.”
The online feud centers on the president deploying troops to Washington, D.C., to curb crime there and suggesting last week that he may do the same in other Democratic-led cities with high crime rates, including Baltimore.
In the exchange, President Trump questioned whether Moore had ever received a Bronze Star for military service and said he might “rethink” funding repairs to the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed in 2024.
“After only one week, there is NO CRIME AND NO MURDER IN DC! When it is like that in Baltimore, I will proudly ‘walk the streets’ with the failing… Governor of Maryland,” Trump wrote.

America’s Top Names from 1880s to Today
New visualizations displaying the top 20 most-used names by decade show how America’s naming preferences have changed from the 1880s to today.
For girls, Mary holds the top spot from the 1880s to the 1950s, but parents now prefer less traditional names for their daughters. None of the top 20 girl names from the 1880s appear in the top 20 for the 2010s.
Boys’ names, on the other hand, have held more steady, with William and James holding perennial spots in the top 20. Biblical names like Noah, Jacob, and Elijah are among the most-used names for boys now.
Analysis of the most recent data shows that Noah is the most popular boy’s name and Emma is the most popular girl’s name.
