Good morning! On this day in 1777, British Gen. John Burgoyne surrendered at Saratoga after two battles and an American siege. The victory persuaded France to recognize American independence and provide aid crucial to winning the Revolutionary War.
If you haven’t seen it yet, this video of the new Tesla Roadster using compressed-air thrusters to flip and fly is worth watching. We report on it below, but does it mean we’re finally going to get flying cars? Well, who knows, really? But just in case, we wondered how our readers felt about entering The Jetsons world. Some of the most trusted drinks in your fridge have a health reputation they never earned. That reputation shapes what you pour at breakfast, grab after a workout, and hand to your kids, yet most people don’t check the label. The gaps are bigger than you’d think, including a “gut health” brand that paid millions to settle a lawsuit over its claims and a glass toasted as heart-healthy for 30 years. So how many are in your fridge right now? On today’s episode of The Flyover Podcast, Amy goes in depth to count down the 10 worst drinks that sound healthy but aren’t. Tune in here!
Today’s sponsor is Simple, a weight-loss app built around a refreshingly practical idea: getting healthier shouldn’t require completely changing your life. Simple focuses on small, sustainable habits you can incorporate wherever you are—without restrictive diets, complicated routines, or spending hours at the gym.

Trump Calls Zelensky a ‘Disgrace’
President Trump called Ukraine’s renewed strikes on Russian oil refineries a disgrace, saying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was harder to deal with than Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Kyiv resumed the strikes against Russian energy sites after Zelensky said the U.S. had cut intelligence sharing and throttled Starlink satellite communications, declaring he was “done” with the energy ceasefire Trump announced last week.
Zelensky said Russia never stopped hitting Ukraine’s grid, launching more than 850 drones since midnight Thursday despite the truce. Trump announced the ceasefire Sunday, saying an end to strikes on energy sites would ease pressure on fuel supplies.
Zelensky spent Friday in Brussels, where EU leaders rallied around him and looked for ways to give new assistance to Ukraine.

White House Press Secretary To Exit
Katie Zacharia is out as White House press secretary one week to the day after President Trump named her, capping days of controversy over her performance and her claims of being a lawyer.
A senior White House official told Fox News she is “transitioning out.” Trump denied firing her Friday, saying the press had “brutalized” her and that he advised her to reconsider the job.
Her first press conference (see video) on Tuesday was heavily criticized amid growing questions over over her legal credentials. She acknowledged this week that she never passed the bar exam.

Tesla’s New Roadster Takes to the Air
Tesla unveiled its next-generation Roadster Thursday in a dramatic livestream event that showed the long-awaited vehicle climb a curved ramp, turn upside down, then flip in midair and land on its wheels.
You can see the video here.
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said versions equipped with SpaceX compressed-air thrusters go zero to 60 mph in under a second. All three trims top 230 mph and get 300 miles of range.
Production starts in 2028, nearly a decade after the 2017 prototype promised 2020 deliveries. Reservations run $50,000 to $250,000.
