US Hits Iran Again after Tanker Attacks

American forces launched a new round of strikes on Iran at noon ET on Tuesday, the second since the weekend, as the battle over the Strait of Hormuz escalated.

Hours earlier, Iran struck two supertankers hauling 4 million barrels of Saudi oil near Oman. Tehran had also tried to lay fresh mines in the strait and fired eight missiles at a U.S. base in Jordan.

President Trump called the strikes “large and powerful” and warned on Truth Social that the biggest attack is still “waiting in the wings” and that afterward “there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran!”

The military command said the strikes are focused on the Revolutionary Guard, which oversees the strait and has attacked shipping in it for months. Gulf neighbors urged both sides back to the negotiating table.

Clancy Jury Deadlocked, Told to Keep Trying

The jury weighing Lindsay Clancy’s fate told the court Tuesday morning it was “unable to come to a unanimous decision,” and the judge sent members back to keep deliberating rather than declare a mistrial. The jury ended the day still deliberating.

The Massachusetts mother, 36, is charged with first-degree murder in the January 2023 deaths of her three children, ages 5, 3, and 8 months. Her defense says postpartum psychosis left her unable to know right from wrong. Prosecutors say she acted knowingly.

Jurors have deliberated more than 17 hours since Thursday in a case built on more than 80 witnesses. Acknowledging the complexity, Judge William Sullivan told them to “continue your deliberations.”

If the panel stays deadlocked, the judge could declare a mistrial, and prosecutors would face a decision on retrying her.

Amazon Beats Walmart as World’s Biggest

Amazon has overtaken Walmart as the world’s largest company by annual revenue, ending Walmart’s long reign atop the Fortune Global 500.

The e-commerce and cloud giant posted $716.9 billion in revenue for 2025, edging out Walmart’s $713.2 billion by less than $4 billion. In 2020, Amazon ranked ninth on the list with just $281 billion.

Cloud computing, advertising, and seller services powered Amazon’s climb, while health care companies also surged: UnitedHealth Group ($448 billion) rose to fourth, and both CVS Health and McKesson entered the top 10.
