Trump’s Polling Outperforming 2016, 2020
Former president Donald Trump is doing better in the polls than he was at this time four years ago and when he won the White House in 2016.
Although Trump trails Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in most polls, he is behind by smaller margins than he faced in the other two elections, opening the possibility that voters who quietly support Trump will defy the poll results on Nov. 5.
By contrast, RealClearPolling’s average of polls shows Harris’s 1.8 point lead over Trump lags behind the 10.3 point lead that President Biden enjoyed on Oct. 10, 2020.
The infectious respiratory disease, known formally as pertussis, is especially harmful to babies younger than a year old. It gets its name from a high-pitched “whoop” sound from the severe coughing fits it causes.

Travelers looking for spooky thrills this Halloween season have plenty to choose from among the nation’s many haunted hotels. This list highlights the most ghost-ridden hotels in every state in America.
They range from the obvious, like The Stanley in Colorado’s Estes Park, the inspiration for Stephen King’s “The Shining,” to the unusual, such as the Hotel Provincial in New Orleans, where legend says you can call the ghost of Confederate General P.G.T. Beauregard simply by saying “Shiloh” at 2 a.m.
Creepiest of all might be the Colonial Inn in Concord, Mass., a 300-year-old former former hospital for colonial soldiers. You can stay in Room 24, the old operating room, or even Room 27, the former home of the morgue. See the full list for all 50 states here.
