Good Morning! On this day in 1929, Wall Street suffered the infamous Black Tuesday crash as panicked investors sold more than 16 million shares. Billions in wealth vanished, thousands of investors were ruined, and the crash helped plunge America into the Great Depression.
Yesterday’s poll on how you met your spouse drew hundreds of great responses. The stories ranged from blind dates to air shows to emergency rooms to wrong numbers, and even one where an ex-wife made the introductions. Best of all, many of those chance meetings turned into marriages that have now lasted for decades. Thanks to everyone who wrote in!
Misplaced keys, a name that won’t come, and a parent telling the same story twice in one afternoon. Somewhere around age 50, memory stops being something we take for granted and starts being something we worry about. Researchers say nearly half of dementia cases could be prevented or delayed, and the steps that help are surprisingly ordinary. The No. 1 suggestion isn’t a puzzle or a pill, and it might be the easiest one on the list. Ayla counts down the seven things you can do to protect your memory on today’s episode of The Flyover Podcast. Tune in here!
Later today, you’ll receive a special email from Fisher Investments about their Stock Market Outlook, a free guide to help investors with $1 million or more navigate key retirement questions, from inflation to withdrawals.
Today’s sponsor, AutoCamp, combines Airstream stays with modern comforts near iconic outdoor destinations and is inviting investors to become part of its next chapter.

Brewers Win Their First World Series Title
The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 Wednesday night to become baseball’s world champions for the first time in the franchise’s history.
Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings of two-hit ball and rookie Cooper Pratt got two hits and two RBIs, bringing down the curtain on one of the most dominant performances in recent postseason baseball.
Milwaukee swept the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in four games to win the National League pennant, and rolled over the Rays in five games, finishing the season with the second-lowest team ERA in baseball, and leading the majors in batting average and on-base percentage.
The team had gone 57 seasons without a championship. Tampa Bay, the American League’s best team this season, is now 0-3 in World Series appearances after 2008 and 2020.

68 Dead as Spanish Bullet Trains Collide
A high-speed train plowed into the back of a stopped train in central Spain yesterday morning, killing at least 68 people and sending 58 more to hospitals. More than 540 passengers were aboard the two trains, bound from Madrid to Seville.
Spain’s transport minister said the drivers were not at fault. A computer glitch had shut down the safety system on a 39-mile stretch, and a central control room then gave an “inexplicable” order for the train to resume at full speed, possibly 124 mph, past an active stop signal.
Spain’s bullet-train network went 33 years without a fatal crash until this year. A January wreck involving the same two companies killed 46, and Spain’s soccer federation postponed 24 Copa del Rey games Wednesday night.
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, facing an election in a month, declared three days of national mourning and called it “unacceptable for a country like Spain to suffer two high-speed rail accidents in the same year.”

‘Cruise for Life’ Ends, Stranding 200 in Cambodia
A Florida-run cruise ship that sold cabins as permanent homes at sea abruptly ended its three-year voyage in Cambodia on Tuesday, giving its 203 passengers, mostly Americans, seven hours’ notice to get off.
Operator Villa Vie Residences blamed the Iran war, saying monthly fuel costs per cabin have jumped from about $1,800 to as much as $8,000 in parts of Asia. The company said it will try to restructure over the next 60 days, adding, “No outcome is assured.”
Passengers said the trouble started earlier this year as fuel prices began to spike. Residents were asked for a $3 million emergency loan in April and $360,000 more for fuel recently, and a retired Wyoming couple said they were “tired of every two to four weeks being asked for money.”
The Odyssey left Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 2024 after months of delays, with suites ranging from $120,000 to $400,000. Some residents still hope to buy the ship themselves.

Ending Soon: How Investors Can Celebrate Route 66’s Centennial
On Nov. 11, America will celebrate Route 66’s 100th birthday.
For many, it also helped birth American adventure. Open roads. Gleaming Airstreams. Pristine landscapes.
But 95 years after Airstream’s founding, they’re honoring American adventure differently: by hitching their trailer to AutoCamp. AutoCamp lets adventurers experience iconic American outdoor destinations like Yosemite without compromising comfort and modern amenities. That led hospitality giant Hilton Hotels to form a first-of-its-kind partnership with AutoCamp, too.
And the market’s responded. AutoCamp-branded properties have generated $150M+ in lifetime lodging revenue across eight locations. Airstream’s parent company, $THOR, even invested. They’re not alone, either. Everyday investors like you poured nearly $2M into AutoCamp’s current investment opportunity.
There’s still time to join them. But it’s almost up. Become an AutoCamp shareholder before the opportunity ends.
