Question: What’s the most expensive substance on Earth?

Answer: Antimatter is by far the expensive material on the planet. A gram of antimatter, if it were available, would be worth about $60 trillion, though it’s unlikely anyone will ever produce that much. The only way to create antimatter is via a high-speed super-collider accelerator like the one found at CERN, and anti-particles rarely last more than a few seconds. It’s estimated it would take billions of years to produce a full gram of antimatter.
