Question: Which president was a licensed bartender?

Answer: Abraham Lincoln. When he was 23, Lincoln partnered with 21-year-old William Berry to buy a general store in New Salem, Illinois. In 1833, the venture became a tavern as well and Berry managed to take out a bartending license for Lincoln and himself. The license cost them $7, at a time when liquor sold for 12 cents a pint.
