Answer: Vexillology is the scientific study of everything to do with flags: their history, symbolism, and usage worldwide, across the centuries. The North American Vexillological Association, the world’s largest organization of flag enthusiasts and scholars, has over 1,000 members in the U.S., Canada, and over 30 other countries.
