Deadly Shooting In Louisville
An employee of Old National Bank walked into a Louisville branch yesterday and began firing his rifle. Six people have died from their wounds and eight have been hospitalized.
Police quickly engaged the shooter and killed him, but not before two officers were shot. One of the officers, Nickolas Wilt, suffered a wound to the head and is now recovering from brain surgery.
The shooter was 25 years old and had no criminal record. He livestreamed his heinous act on Instagram, but the footage was quickly removed.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear was personal friends with one of the victims, Deana Eckert, and made an emotional statement during a press conference.
“He helped me build my law career. Help me become governor. Gave me advice on being a good dad.”
Authorities are still trying to determine the shooter’s motive.

Pentagon Concerned Over Classified Leak
Pentagon officials have not yet determined who leaked classified information about the war in Ukraine and US intelligence-gathering efforts.
Slides from Joint Chiefs briefings have been leaked to a Discord chat group, although some of the details have been distorted. Russian troop casualties have been substantially lowered in the altered documents, down from the true number of over 100,000 to less than 18,000.
The documents contain a frank assessment of both Ukraine and Russia’s tactical strengths and weaknesses ahead of Ukraine’s expected spring offensive, and some of the information indicates that the US intelligence community has assets inside the Russian military.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby stated that “we don’t know who’s behind this, we don’t know what the motive is.”

FBI Used Undercover Agent in the Catholic Church
Internal documents reveal that the FBI infiltrated the Catholic church with at least one undercover agent.
The agent was part of a larger plan to target Catholic churches as “new avenues for tripwire and source development.” Jim Jordan (R-OH) and other members of the so-called Weaponization Subcommittee obtained the documents and wrote a scathing letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray in response.
"This information is outrageous and only reinforces the Committee’s need for all FBI material responsive to our request,” Jordan wrote. “[Americans] must be free to exercise their fundamental First Amendment rights without worrying that the FBI may have planted so-called "tripwire" sources or other informants in their houses of worship.”
