Good morning! On this day 78 years ago, America declared victory in Okinawa—the fierce and final battle of the Pacific campaign. U.S. casualties totaled nearly 50,000 in the brutal 82-day fight, but on June 21, 1945, U.S. troops took the island.
In today’s edition, we discuss Hunter Biden’s guilty plea, flying two-seater taxis preparing for the Paris Olympics, and an amazing display of drone artistry over Shenzhen.

Hunter Biden Pleads Guilty
Hunter Biden agreed to a deal on federal tax charges that will avert a felony gun charge and most likely save him from going to jail in return for his guilty plea.
The agreement immediately sparked outrage among some Republicans, who pointed to the disparity between the Hunter Biden deal and the Biden administration’s ongoing charges against Donald Trump.
House leaders said the plea deal wouldn’t stop their investigation into bribery allegations against Hunter Biden. They continue to press the FBI for the release of whistle-blower documents. | Time Running Out for Titanic Submersible
A growing armada of ships and airplanes is searching the North Atlantic for a missing submersible that disappeared on its way to visit the Titanic wreckage. The underwater ship has only a day or two of oxygen left.
The five passengers on the tiny ship include a British billionaire; a top Pakistani executive for a giant conglomerate and his son; a French explorer who is an underwater expert; and the founder of OceanGate, the submersible company.
OceanGate charges up to $250,000 for a seat on the sub, which barely has room for five passengers to sit on the floor. There’s one bathroom with a curtain for privacy, a large viewing porthole, and a modified video game controller for steering.
| Dominos to Deliver Wherever You Are
Domino’s Pizza is rolling out a new technology that lets people get pizza delivered almost anywhere, from parks to beaches to baseball fields.
The new “Pinpoint Delivery” service uses an app allowing customers to drop a pin on a map, no address necessary. The delivery can be tracked in real time.
Domino’s says it’s the first “quick-service” restaurant brand to offer delivery using a pin location rather than an address.

Flying together
How are you liking The Flyover? This week marks our third month of publishing this daily newsletter. We work extremely hard to get relevant news — without the bias from the mainstream media and coastal elites — into your inbox every weekday morning.
We love to hear your feedback, good or bad. Of course, we hope it’s good. And if you’re feeling generous and would like to say thank you, we’ve set up a TIP JAR.
We totally understand that there are many who can’t afford to tip the crew – and The Flyover will always be FREE – but even a $5 tip to buy them a cup of coffee will go a long way. Special shout out to Annette P of AZ and Ray C of NV for their generous tips. THANK YOU!
