Pagers Explode Across Lebanon
Eleven people were killed and thousands injured after handheld pagers used by Hezbollah members exploded across Lebanon on Tuesday, according to reports.
Hezbollah blamed Israel for the “criminal aggression,” vowing retaliation, while Israel declined to comment. Here’s a video showing what happened.
Munitions experts suggested the pagers may have been packed with military-grade explosives triggered by an alphanumeric text message.
Israel has said it wants to secure the Lebanon border and allow its residents to return, which requires security against Hezbollah. Israeli leaders say they anticipate a major response from the terrorist group.

Sean “Diddy” Combs Jailed Without Bail
A New York federal Magistrate on Tuesday ordered hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs to be held without bail on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution.
He faces up to life in prison if convicted.
Combs was arrested Monday evening in New York, six months after federal agents raided his homes in Miami and Los Angeles. He pleaded not guilty to all charges in a federal courtroom Tuesday.
Prosecutors allege that Combs has physically and sexually abused victims for decades, using his vast resources to enable his abuse and cover up crimes.
Attorneys for Combs maintain that their client is innocent.

Somalia is facing a devastating combination of natural disasters, global conflicts, widespread poverty, and disease outbreaks. East Africa has just endured its worst drought in 40 years, leaving tens of millions without access to clean water, wiping out millions of livestock, and destroying crops. With domestic food production crippled, Somalia has relied heavily on imports—90% of its wheat coming from Russia and Ukraine—until those shipments stopped.
Now, two in five children in Somalia suffer from acute malnutrition, and cholera is spreading in some regions. The food crisis, compounded by global humanitarian aid being redirected to Europe and the Middle East, has created a perfect storm, leading to a sharp rise in child malnutrition.
