Two employees sprang into action to protect others during a gunman’s attempted attack on NFL headquarters at 345 Park Ave. in New York last week.

Lobby greeter Andre Morris, 39, ushered a group of workers into a closet and held the door shut until help arrived.

Just moments earlier, an NFL employee who was shot in the back used his phone not to call 911, but to warn colleagues upstairs, giving them precious time to take cover.

The high-rise, home to major firms like the NFL and Blackstone, was thrown into chaos, but thanks to their quick thinking, more lives were spared.

Kitten Hops NYC Train, Finds Forever Home

A stray kitten who wandered onto a New York City subway last week has found a new home and internet fame after being rescued by a fellow commuter.

The tiny tabby, now named Emmie, boarded a downtown train and charmed passengers before Harlem resident Betsaida Mercado scooped her up and took her home. Watch the video here.

After a quick vet visit confirmed that Emmie wasn’t microchipped, Betsaida adopted her and introduced the kitty to her 13-year-old dog, King.

Now settled into indoor life, Emmie is thriving, and yes, Betsaida still made it to work on time.
