Own The Flyover
Inside The Sprint to 2,000 Investors

A behind-the-scenes memo revealing how The Flyover is growing when legacy media is shrinking.

We’re in the middle of a sprint to 2,000 investors—and just a few hundred away.

Ever wonder:
  • How The Flyover grew from 47 readers to 3.4 million in just 2½ years, and what it means for The Flyover’s future?
  • How early investors helped grow our audience from 2.5M to 3.4M, and why early investors are seeing record momentum in growth, profit, and revenue?
  • What makes our model work when legacy media is failing?

The answers were all inside our founder’s confidential memo—shared earlier this week with top readers and investors.

Read the memo and see why this moment matters—and how you can become an owner.

Bring Scripture Where It’s Never Been Before

Around the world, there are prisoners holding a Bible who haven’t experienced the hope of the Gospel because they can’t read.

But with your help, they can hear the Gospel and experience the love of Jesus for themselves!

Prison Fellowship International removes the barriers of illiteracy and lack of translation by providing audio Scripture in prisoners’ heart languages.

With audio recordings in more than 1,700 languages and listening groups in 30 countries, we have the opportunity to reach countless prisoners with the Good News of the Gospel.

What a beautiful way to shine the love of Christ into the darkness of prison!

Give now to share an audio Bible with a prisoner.

Konti, in Togo, had this to say …

“Through listening to the audio Bible, I have built faith, hope, and trust in Jesus. He forgave my sins because He is my Savior and Lord … His grace came over me and is doing wonders in the prison …”

Your gift today will empower more prisoners to hear the life-changing Word of God.

God’s Word is the most meaningful gift you could give to a prisoner.

Unfortunately, many in prison can’t read the Bible, even if they want to, because of illiteracy or lack of translation.

Prison Fellowship International has developed a “work-around” that works … providing audio Scripture to prisoners in their heart language.

Your gift of $25 now will help an entire listening group hear and discuss the Gospel together.

The impact is incredible. In some of the darkest prisons around the world, prisoners are now gathering to experience the light of God’s Word. Lives are transforming. Faith is growing.

Your generosity can open prison doors to the sound of salvation.

Change lives by placing the hope-filled audio Bibles into waiting hands now.

Thank you!

Whatever Happened To...

Whatever happened to Howard Johnson’s?

For decades, spotting an orange roof on the horizon meant you’d found a Howard Johnson’s. To travelers, HoJo wasn’t just a restaurant or motel: It was a promise of delicious fried clams, frankforts, and 28 flavors of ice cream, no matter where you were.

How did that happen?

The saga began 100 years ago in 1925, when Howard Deering Johnson transformed a tiny Quincy, Massachusetts, soda shop into a sensation with his rich, high-butterfat ice cream. Demand exploded, and Johnson embraced a new idea: he let independent operators use his name, menu, and recipes in exchange for a fee.

This proto-franchising model allowed HoJo to expand rapidly just as Americans were discovering the joy of long-distance car travel. At its peak in the 1960s, Howard Johnson’s was the largest restaurant chain in America, instantly recognizable with its bright orange roofs and cupolas.

Then the decline hit. Competing fast-food chains delivered quicker, cheaper meals. HoJo’s buildings grew dated, franchise standards slipped, and new corporate owners treated the company more like a real-estate portfolio than a hospitality brand.

Bit by bit, the orange roofs disappeared, until the last Howard Johnson’s restaurant closed in Lake George, New York, in 2022.

Today, only the hotel survives under Wyndham as a mid-priced brand. The empire that once fed America’s road trips has become a piece of Americana, a nostalgic reminder of the way we used to travel.
