 Hamas Agrees to Disarm in Gaza
President Trump announced a historic agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and all other armed groups in Gaza, calling it a “major milestone” in his 20-point peace plan.
The deal, brokered by Egypt, Qatar and Turkey through Trump’s Board of Peace, calls for weapons to be surrendered in phases, after which Israeli forces would withdraw and an International Stabilization Force would deploy alongside a new Palestinian police force.
Hamas officials said they would only disarm if Israel honors its ceasefire commitments, including ending attacks and increasing aid. Israel has not officially responded, and key timelines remain unclear.

F-35 Fighter Crashes in San Diego
A Marine Corps F-35B fighter jet crashed near the runway at Air Station Miramar in San Diego Friday morning, sparking a fire that scorched a football-field-sized patch of ground. The pilot ejected and was recovered.
The Marines classified the incident as a “Class A mishap,” the most severe designation, reserved for crashes involving death, permanent disability, or damage exceeding $2.5 million. The pilot is reported to be in stable condition.
Aerial footage showed the jet in at least two pieces as crews doused the wreckage with fire retardant. Each F-35 costs roughly $100 million. The incident is under investigation.

Migrants Surge into Spain, Killing Over 50
As many as 60,000 migrants surged from Morocco into Spain’s Ceuta territory in 24 hours, killing at least 57 in the tiny North African enclave of 84,000 residents.
Images showed mostly young men swimming around border fences and sprinting through streets. Some drowned; others died in a stampede at Tarajal beach.
Ceuta’s president called for a national emergency, but Madrid denied it. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez visited Friday, blaming human smugglers for exploiting a recent court ruling. Most have already returned to Morocco, officials said, but reception centers remain overwhelmed.
The White House criticized Spain’s “far left, globalist policies” for the border collapse, urging other governments to tighten immigration restrictions.
