Report: Consumer Demand is Strong
Post-pandemic demand for consumer goods remains strong, and American spending at retail stores and restaurants is rising, according to research conducted by the Federal Reserve.
Inflation-adjusted consumer spending rose 3% in 2022, 2.5% in 2023, and increased at a 2.8% annual rate in the April-June quarter, despite the highest interest rates in over two decades.
Middle- and high-income households have fueled the demand for retail goods, boosted by strong gains in income, home equity, and stock market wealth.
Lower-income consumers, squeezed by inflation, are spending less than pre-pandemic levels.

A 100-year-old time capsule was unveiled at the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri, after it was extracted from the memorial in June.
According to officials, the time capsule was buried inside the museum’s Liberty Memorial Tower in 1924, with instructions left to open the container in 100 years.
The time capsule’s contents were revealed during a ceremony on Wednesday. Among the objects were a copy of the U.S. Constitution, newspapers, a Bible, and a copy of the U.S. declaration of war from 1917. You can see the unveiling here.

Last Chance to Invest: This ‘Infinite’ Energy Source Is Like Something out of the Twilight Zone
Consider, if you will, a future where astronauts don’t need to bring fuel into outer space. Instead, they’ll bring a patented electrolysis cell that turns water and solar power into hydrogen and oxygen, then back again.
But this is not the ‘Twilight Zone.’
That future is unfolding as we speak. And that fuel cell belongs to Infinity Fuel Cell and Hydrogen.
Past and current members of Infinity’s team have been involved in NASA fuel cell programs going back to the 1960s. This company, founded in 2002, has been funded by NASA, the US Navy, and major commercial space and underwater partners receiving to-date $50 million in contracts.
But this is only the beginning: In addition to powering outer space and deep-sea missions, Infinity wants to supply off-grid renewable power to billions of people worldwide.
This investment is an opportunity for you to be part of their next phase of growth. You have one week left to join the future of energy and become an Infinity shareholder by Oct. 25.
