Good morning! On this date in 1832, John C. Calhoun became the first Vice President ever to resign, partly over differences with President Andrew Jackson and partly over a perceived slight to a cabinet member’s wife. (See Photos)

Michigan High Court Rules for Trump
The Michigan Supreme Court rejected an attempt to remove Donald Trump from the state’s primary election under the insurrection clause of the 14th Amendment.
The court, controlled by Democrats, let stand a decision from a lower state court that Michigan’s secretary of state lacked legal authority to remove Trump from the ballot.
The judges noted that election laws in Michigan were different than those in Colorado, which ruled against Trump last week. Trump is appealing that decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Comedian Tommy Smothers dies at 86
Tommy Smothers, one-half of the musical-comedy duo The Smother Brothers, died at age 86 of cancer. The brothers won national fame as hosts of a groundbreaking network variety show in the 1960s.
Tom played the dim-witted brother to his real-life brother Dick Smothers, 85. In their musical numbers, Tommy would inevitably interrupt the song to start an absurd argument that was the highlight of the act. (See Comedy Clips)
Their “Smother Brothers Comedy Hour” on CBS was one of the first to break cultural barriers on TV and made Tommy famous for his public feuds with the CBS censors. CBS canceled the show after three tumultuous seasons.
Chart: Every State’s Income and Output
America’s $20 trillion economy breaks down into 50 state economies, and this color-coded chart shows each state’s relative size by economic output, led by California and Texas. Both are big enough to match the GDP of large countries.
Four states have GDPs over $1 trillion: California at $2.9 trillion, Texas at $1.9 trillion, then New York at $1.6 and Florida at $1.1. Those four alone account for over a third of the nation’s economy.
The chart also codes each state by per capita income. Washington, D.C., though not a state, has the highest personal income per capita at $97,000. Mississippi had the lowest at $46,000. Check your state here.

These symptoms point to circulation issues causing blood & fluid to pool in the tissue around your feet and ankles…
