Good Morning! On this day in 1793, the last queen of France, Marie Antoinette, was executed. Her reign, along with her husband, King Louis XVI, symbolized royal excess, provoking the social unrest that led to the French Revolution.
A rare 1957 Jaguar could fetch as much as $14 million at auction, according to a story in today’s edition. Pretty good for a scuffed and scratched 67-year-old.

Google Goes Nuclear for Data Power
Google announced a deal with nuclear reactor developer Kairos Power to purchase energy to power its AI data centers, following a similar move by Microsoft to restart Pennsylvania’s Three Mile Island nuclear plant for the same purpose.
Kairos Power, a startup that develops small reactors with molten salt coolant, received federal approval last year to build a new nuclear reactor. It’s the first such permit granted in 50 years.
Google described the next-gen reactors as robust, safe, and designed with a modular approach to reduce construction timelines and facilitate easier placement.
The first reactor is expected to come online this decade, with additional reactors projected by 2035. No financial details were disclosed.

Kamala Harris Facing Plagiarism Allegations
Vice President Kamala Harris faces plagiarism allegations over her 2009 book Smart on Crime, with claims it lifted passages from sources such as a Bureau of Justice Assistance report, an Associated Press article, and even Wikipedia.
Conservative activist Christopher Rufo, who exposed the alleged copying, provided a full analysis showing 18 instances of plagiarism. Harris’ publisher, Chronicle Books, is treating the matter as “very sensitive,” while her campaign dismisses the accusations, stating that sources were properly cited.
Rufo shared a post on X revealing that Kamala Harris’s publisher, Chronicle Books, is in “damage control” after accidentally sending his team an internal email outlining how to handle inquiries about the plagiarism claims.
In response, JD Vance posted on X: “Hi, I’m JD Vance. I wrote my own book, unlike Kamala Harris, who copied hers from Wikipedia.”
