Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is considered week-to-week with a hamstring strain suffered on a scramble in Sunday’s 9-3 loss to Minnesota. An MRI showed it’s a grade 1 strain, the least severe kind. (More)

The San Francisco Giants placed rookie first baseman Bryce Eldridge on the concussion injured list after the 6-foot-7 slugger hit his head on a low archway at the team hotel. Manager Tony Vitello said he’s unlikely to return this season. (More)
