Iran President Missing After Helicopter Crash
Iran launched a massive rescue mission Sunday after a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other Iranian officials crashed in the mountains during a heavy fog.
Officials said darkness, rain, and muddy conditions made it difficult to reach the crash site. Raisi and the other passengers were returning from a ceremonial trip to the border to inaugurate a new dam.
Raisi’s condition remains unclear. Iran’s vice president said two people from the flight had made contact with the rescue team and that the crash site had been identified. At least 40 rescue teams have been deployed, including drones and search dogs.

Thieves Rob Celebrity Jeweler Harry Winston
Three robbers stole several million dollars worth of jewels in an armed heist at Paris’ Harry Winston store, famed as “Jeweler to the Stars.”
The thieves used a motorbike as a battering ram to crash through the store, stole jewelry from several windows, and then took off on three motorcycles after firing a single rifle shot at police.
Harry Winston’s shop is famous for supplying high-end jewelry to celebrities attending glittering events. Eight people were convicted in 2015 in connection with a dramatic 2008 holdup in which $92 million of jewels were stolen.
