Good Morning! On this day in 1901, 63-year-old schoolteacher Annie Edson Taylor became the first person to survive plunging over Niagara Falls in a barrel. You can see Annie and her barrel here.
What are the best and worst grocery stores? Texas swears by H-E-B. Florida won’t hear a bad word about Publix. California gave the country Trader Joe’s. What about Walmart, Albertsons, and Costco? Only one of them can be America’s top-rated supermarket. More than 31,000 shoppers graded the nation’s biggest grocery chains, and the results can be polarizing. Is your weekly grocery store on the best list or the worst? Ayla has the countdown on today’s Flyover Podcast. Tune in and pick a side.
Today’s sponsor, Daily Health Digital, explores a nutrient’s potential role in joint health and what it could mean for adults over 60 dealing with stiff knees.

Melania Brokers Truce in Ukraine City
Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a localized ceasefire in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky, Ukraine, brokered by first lady Melania Trump, the White House said Friday.
The truce is set to begin Oct. 29 and is meant to let humanitarian aid in and move civilians out through a designated safe passageway. Melania Trump said the remaining residents are mostly elderly and need medicine, food, and clean water.
The White House said the first lady and a representative worked directly with both governments on the terms. Oleshky, once a city of about 24,000 on the Dnipro River, fell on the first day of the 2022 invasion.
Moscow has not commented publicly. Ukraine’s top negotiator said the humanitarian operation would begin once the truce takes hold.

Ex-FBI Agents Charged in Hunter Biden Case
Two former senior FBI officials surrendered on arrest warrants Friday after being charged with lying to Congress about the bureau’s Hunter Biden investigations.
Nikki Cole Floris, 46, and Bradley Benavides, 56, who ran the now-dissolved Foreign Influence Task Force, each face one count of making false statements. Both told the House Judiciary Committee in 2023 that the task force played no role in the Hunter Biden cases.
Benavides testified that he first learned the FBI had the laptop by reading a Wikipedia article in 2023. Prosecutors say he discussed the laptop routinely with FBI colleagues before the 2020 election.
Attorneys for Floris called the case “nonsense” and noted it was filed 10 days before the Nov. 3 midterm elections. The judge refused a prosecution request to delay the preliminary hearing for more than two weeks and set the hearing for Tuesday.

Ranking: Ballparks from Oldest to Newest
The World Series opened last night in Milwaukee with the Brewers beating the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2 in a 25-year-old ballpark that sits right in the middle of a new ranking of all 30 major league parks by age.
Fenway Park, which opened in 1912, and Wrigley Field, from 1914, are the only two ballparks left that predate 1960. MLB dates every park to its first regular-season game.
Only five parks are at least 40 years old, and 19 of the 30 opened between 1990 and 2009. Milwaukee’s American Family Field held its first game in 2001 and Tropicana Field, in its rebuilt form, opened this April after $58 million in repairs to its hurricane-shredded roof.
Game 2 is tonight in Milwaukee, and the series moves to the Trop on Monday. The dome is on borrowed time either way, with the Rays due to open a new Tampa ballpark in 2029.

After 60, Knee Health Comes Down to 1 Nutrient Most Doctors Miss
After 60, standing up can mean gripping the armrest, rocking forward, and bracing for that first stiff step. Most people blame age or wear and tear. But nearly 40 years of research out of Spain found the real culprit — and it isn’t just cartilage loss or inflammation.
Your joints are slowly drying out from the inside, losing the fluid they need to move freely. The answer came down to one overlooked nutrient that triggers your body to produce fresh joint fluid again.
Over 300,000 Americans have already used it to walk farther, climb stairs, and rise out of a chair without thinking twice (no surgery or injections).
