Drudge: Hannity Set for Carlson Time Slot
According to the Drudge Report, Fox News is planning to put Sean Hannity into Tucker Carlson’s 8 p.m. time slot as part of a reworking of its primetime lineup.
Fox says nothing is decided yet, but other media reports have Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld taking later primetime slots in an all-new lineup—Laura Ingraham would not be included.
Meanwhile, new controversy arose in Carlson’s ongoing contract feud with Fox on reports the network pushed him out as part of the settlement demand from Dominion Voting Systems. Both Fox and Dominion deny that claim.

Target Loses $500 Million to ‘Violence and Theft’
Target CEO Brian Cornell warned that rising violence and theft will cost the company more than $500 million this year, hurting its bottom line. The company reported its fifth straight quarter of declining profits this week.
Last year, Target had $700 million of “inventory shrinkage —code for theft—leading to a total of $1.2 billion of lost merchandise and profit.
Cornell said the company is working with legislators and law enforcement to find a “public policy solution” to the problem, which he described as too big for one company to handle.

Taco Bell Wants to Liberate ‘Taco Tuesday’
Taco Bell says no one should own the term “Taco Tuesday,” and has asked the government to cancel rival Taco John’s 40-year trademark claim to the term.
The battle over legal use of “Taco Tuesday” goes back years, and Taco Bell says the term is now too generic to trademark. A Taco John’s restaurant first coined it in the early 1980s, and the company has been vigilant about protecting it ever since.
Taco Bell is seeking no damages, only the legal right to use the phrase. Experts say the case could take years to work through the appeals process.
