Lawyers Claim IRS Ordered to Stop Biden Investigation
The IRS has disbanded the team investigating tax fraud claims against Hunter Biden as retribution against the whistleblower leading the team, say lawyers for the whistleblower.
In a letter sent to Congress, the lawyers claim the team was disbanded by order of the Justice Department. If the move came as retribution against the whistleblower, it would be illegal under federal law.
Details beyond the letter itself remain sparse. One legal scholar argues that an ongoing “media blackout” has made it difficult to get to the truth on issues relating to the Biden family.
