Romney Won’t Seek Re-Election to Senate
GOP Sen. Mitt Romney announced Wednesday that he won’t run for re-election in 2025, saying it was time for younger leaders to take charge.
Romney’s criticism of Donald Trump earned him the anger of many Republicans, and on Wednesday, he had harsh words for both Trump and President Biden. He voted to convict Trump in both impeachment trials.
The decision not to run will end his long political career. He served as governor of Massachusetts, ran for president in 2012, and was elected senator in Utah in 2018. | Police Finally Capture Escaped Killer
Escaped Pennsylvania killer Danelo Cavalcante was finally captured by police with the help of airplanes, at least one police dog, and a tactical team of two dozen officers.
Cavalcante was at large for two weeks after escaping from a Pennsylvania prison by crab-walking up the walls. He eluded more than 500 officers who participated in the manhunt across the state.
In the end, he was found by thermal imaging from an airplane and was then “subdued” by a police dog in a wooded area. He was captured with no shots fired, and one “minor bite wound.” | NASA To Issue Its UFO Report Today
NASA will present its report on UFOs this morning at 10 a.m. ET to discuss the findings of an expert panel set up last year to develop recommendations for improving UFO detection. (Watch Live Here)
The report won’t discuss previous sightings. It’s designed to help identify what are now called Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) in the future. Congress is probing potential past encounters with aliens.
The Mexican government held its own hearing Wednesday, where a journalist unveiled what he claimed were ancient mummified aliens (See Video). However, the journalist has a record of passing off human mummies as aliens.
