Good morning! On this date in 1988, Rush Limbaugh began his national radio show. Within five years, it was the most popular talk show on radio, reaching an estimated 20 million listeners weekly until he died in 2021.
We’re discussing the presidential debates in today’s edition, and the results of yesterday’s poll are interesting: Flyover readers are only slightly in favor of President Trump taking the debate stage against his GOP rivals.

Biden Friend: VP Sat In On Hunter’s Calls
Hunter Biden’s former friend Devon Archer told Congress Monday that President Biden definitely had knowledge of his son’s business dealings, which Rep. James Comer said meant the President “lied to the American people.”
Comer said Archer told the House Oversight Committee that while he was vice president, Joe Biden was put on a speakerphone at least 20 different times with Hunter’s partners to “sell the brand.” The “brand” was the Biden family name.
Democrats downplayed the testimony, saying that having his dad on the phone to meet-and-greet guests didn’t mean the President was involved in the actual deals. | Support for the Military Slips in America
Public confidence in the military slipped to the lowest level in 20 years, a new Gallup Poll reports. Only 60% of Americans expressed high confidence, down from 64% last year.
Even so, the military remains one of the most-trusted U.S. organizations, surpassed only by the broad category of “Small Business.” Across the board, American faith in major societal institutions is historically low.
Ranked as the least-trusted institutions in the Gallup survey (See Poll Results Here) are Congress at 8%, big business and television news both at 14%, the criminal justice system at 17%, and newspapers at 18%. | Arch Manning’s 1st Trading Card Sets Record
University of Texas freshman Arch Manning, grandson of football great Archie Manning and nephew of Eli and Peyton Manning, set a new record with the sale of his first trading card for $102,500.
The sale comes just a week after Manning signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Panini America, a trading cards company. The price is the most ever paid for a collegiate trading card.
Manning hasn’t played a single college game yet, but at $102,000 his card topped his uncle Peyton Manning’s top card, which went for $72,000. All proceeds for the sale are going to children’s healthcare.
