Good morning! Today we note that history repeats itself in odd ways. On this day in 1905, Russian sailors aboard the battleship Potemkin mutinied and called for the overthrow of Czar Nicholas. Their coup attempt failed. Now, on the same weekend 118 years later, another Russian mutiny has failed.
In today’s Flyover, we’re discussing the new primetime lineup on Fox News, how a shot-putter saved her team by finishing last in the hurdles, and Audubon’s annual showcase of the finest bird photographs of the year.

Broadband Coming for Rural America
The U.S. government divided $42 billion Monday among all 50 states to bring high-speed broadband Internet service to underserved areas, part of a $1 trillion infrastructure bill.
Though the funding announcement is clearly meant to help President Biden’s re-election effort, it nonetheless addresses the issue of minimal broadband connectivity in rural areas across America.
Each state will receive at least $107 million for broadband upgrades, with Texas getting the largest slice at $3.3 billion and 18 other states getting over $1 billion, including Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, and Missouri. | Fox News Revamps Primetime Lineup
Fox News named Jesse Watters to the 8 p.m. time slot formerly held by Tucker Carlson as part of a major revamp of its primetime lineup.
Laura Ingraham will shift to 7 p.m., and news comic Greg Gutfeld will move to the 10 p.m. slot. Sean Hannity’s 9 p.m. show will remain unchanged. The moves were prompted by the firing of Carlson, which caused a steep and immediate ratings decline.
Some analysts say the move also shifts Fox into slightly more of a political-entertainment mode, as polling shows Americans growing tired of round-the-clock partisan politics. | New Obesity Pill May Transform Weight-Loss
If approved, a new pill that works like injections from blockbuster weight-loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy is expected to revolutionize the weight-loss market.
Novo Nordisk said its new oral version of semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic, helped overweight adults lose 15% of their body weight in late-stage trials. It plans to file for FDA approval later this year.
Analysts say the potential weight-loss market could reach $100 million worldwide, with pills making up 15 percent of that.
