Israel Steps Up Attacks on Hezbollah
Israel launched massive airstrikes on Lebanon Monday, hitting more than 1,300 alleged Hezbollah targets, killing nearly 500 and wounding over 1,600, potentially signaling a broader military campaign.
Monday’s bombing was the deadliest day of fighting between the two groups since the 2006 Israel-Hezbollah war.
Before the airstrikes, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu released a recorded message, urging Lebanese civilians to evacuate and to take the warning seriously. He also said they could return safely after the operation was completed.
Pentagon officials revealed Monday that the U.S. will deploy a limited number of troops to the Middle East in response to recent events, though they withheld specific operational details.

Suspect’s Note Details Plan to Shoot Trump
Ryan Wesley Routh, accused of an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, left a note detailing his plan and offering $150,000 for someone else to complete the act if he failed, according to the Justice Department.
“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you,” the note read. “I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.”
Prosecutors also found a list of Trump’s appearances and searches on how to travel from West Palm Beach to Mexico in Routh’s car.
Trump’s campaign called the charges against Routh a “slap on the wrist” and blamed the “Kamala Harris/Joe Biden Department of Justice and FBI” for mishandling the case.

New Mozart Work Discovered
A previously unknown composition by a teenage Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has been discovered in a German library.
The piece, titled Ganz kleine Nachtmusik, consists of seven miniature movements for a string trio and lasts about 12 minutes. Listen to it here.
Experts believe Mozart composed the work in his early teens, around the mid-to-late 1760s.
The newly discovered piece had its world premiere in Salzburg, Austria, on Monday, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the release of the Mozart biopic Amadeus.

It’s easy to forget that our sweat isn’t just water. But why do we only go down a glass of water after a long run or a hot day? Our sweat consists of water and salt, so next time you reach for that glass of water… remember to replenish those electrolytes.
After years of mixing his own electrolyte blends and frustration with healthy options on the market, LMNT Co-Founder Robb Wolf used his experience as a biochemist to create his own product.
