Happy Sunday! On this date in 1859, French acrobat Charles Blondin crossed Niagara Falls on a tightrope, becoming the first person known to accomplish the feat.
It’s hot all over the country, and a Niagara Falls bath could sound pretty tempting. Maybe a plunge into the sea, like the daredevil penguins in today’s video? (See below). Either way, we hope your weekend is positively swimming!

Biden Raises $27 Million After Debate Debacle
Since Thursday’s presidential debate, the Biden campaign has raised $27 million, part of an effort to match Trump’s recent donation momentum and rebound from a lackluster debate performance.
The campaign is trying to reassure donors of Biden’s viability for the November election, and Democratic figures, including former Presidents Obama and Clinton, are urging voters to look beyond the debate.
A judge has rejected Alec Baldwin’s request to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter charge against him for the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film “Rust,” with the trial set to begin on July 9.
Baldwin, who was holding the prop gun that discharged and killed Hutchins, has consistently claimed he did not pull the trigger and is unaware of how live ammunition was present on set. The film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, has already been sentenced to 18 months for the same charge.
Baldwin’s defense faced a setback when the firearm in question was destroyed during an FBI forensic test, which his lawyers argued should lead to his exoneration.
List: The Cost of Living Comfortably
A new study shows the the amount of income it takes to live comfortably in every U.S. state, ranking Massachusetts as the most expensive at $116,000 and West Virginia the least, at $78,790.
The research applied the 50/30/20 rule for a “comfortable” lifestyle: 50% of income for basic needs like food and housing, 30% on things you want, and 20% for savings.
The study offers the income needed for a single working adult, as well as the amount needed for a family to live comfortably. North Carolina sits right in the middle, with an $89,000 salary needed for a single adult and $209,000 needed for a family. The full list is here.

➤ Free Radicals clog up our liver. Free radicals are like tiny troublemakers that are formed in our bodies when we breathe, eat, or even when we’re exposed to too much UV rays from sunlight. Since our liver is responsible for eliminating toxic wastes, a build-up of free radicals can slow the liver down – and make it nearly impossible for the liver to function properly. (Learn More)

Dear Reader,
We started The Flyover because we saw a problem and wanted to fix it.
The problem: It’s hard to find news without the typical Big Media bias, and it’s even harder to find it all in one place.
The solution: An email with all of the day’s stories and none of the bias.
Here’s my question, Flyover Reader: Are we solving the problem for you? If so, would you chip in a donation to help us finish June on a roll?
We’re grateful for your support (even if you can’t donate), and we’re humbled that so many of you read our newsletter every day. Thank you!
